Redemption Received: Greg McElroy

I thought I would start sharing my experiences with redemptions in every company once the card, or it’s replacement, arrives in my mailbox. I will detail the the input date, the receive date, and anything else that may be necessary.

Today’s redemption received is none other than 2011 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Spectrum Gold Greg McElroy RC Autograph #/299.

I input the redemption code for this card on October 28, 2011 after my review of 2011 Absolute Memorabilia football. I received the card from Panini yesterday on January 7, 2012. The total time this card was in the redemption process at Panini was 2 months and 10 days. In the meantime, I have even pulled another Greg McElroy RC autograph from a different Panini product.

While the turnaround time for this particular redemption wasn’t that bad, the interesting fact that I received another Greg McElroy autograph live from a different product confuses me. I understand that autographs are proportioned for each product, but it’s just weird waiting on a redemption for a sticker autograph when you get it live in a product a few months later. At least I didn’t have to go out of my way to contact Panini Customer Service.

As far as Greg McElroy goes, I still have confidence that he may be a great NFL quarterback someday. Smart and accurate is what makes a great quarterback and McElroy has those skills. I’d love to see him overtake Mark Sanchez and show off his skills.

  1. McElroy may be a player. I’m building a McElroy PC mainly because he led my beloved Tide to the crystal ball!
